On hiatus until further notice.
This is the Sketchblog and Creative journal of Jess Idres. Set up as a way to dump out the sketches and random artwork that I've decided to keep off DeviantArt, as well as a sort of challenge to keep herself drawing. Fiction is more rare, but may also be posted.
Be warned, there very may well be political imagery, nudity and strange stuff in here. This is a bit of a mind dump.
Quickie FAQ!
What sort of tools do you use for art?
For traditional art, I use a big old stack of high quality copypaper, Staedtler non-photo-blue pencil, HB and 2B pencils, and Letraset's TRIA markers.
For digital artwork, I use a Dell Studio 17 laptop, Photoshop CS4, a Wacom Intuos 3 tablet, and a Canon LiDE scanner.
Are you always this crazy?
Pretty much, yes.
Can you use your art?
If you drop me a line beforehand, and tell me what you're using it for, I'm generally agreeable. I do ask for credit. I don't do well with art thieves.
